Greetings SHHS Parents:
Sunny Hills High School has always been a special place for me and I am so excited to be back serving as principal. The level of support SHHS receives from our parent community is extraordinary and I am extremely appreciative of that support. In addition to the volunteer hours given by our PTSA, KPO, and Foundation, the financial donations from these groups toward instructional supplies, technology, and facilities improvements help support our amazing students and faculty in so many positive ways. Recent PTSA gifts of tables and benches to improve student seating around campus have added greatly to the aesthetic of our campus. Solar charging umbrellas have also been added to some of this seating to provide students with shade as well as a location to charge their devices during the day.
Academically, our Lancers continue the tradition of excellence that Sunny Hills is known for as they gain acceptances to America’s top colleges and universities. At the same time, our AP and IB programs are flourishing while other programs such as EPIC, COFA, and athletics consistently advance and amaze. SHHS is certainly set apart by the fact that our Lancers can challenge themselves academically while also taking advantage of multiple opportunities for involvement on campus. As a result, Sunny Hills continues to be honored by placing at the top of state and national rankings. Truly, Sunny Hills High School is an elite school providing a world-class education for every student, every day.
